Pupil Groups
We have lots of Pupil Groups here at St. Bernadette's RC Primary.
Mini-Vinnies - we meet every Wednesday and look at ways that we can help others.
Chaplains - we meet every Tuesday and help keep Jesus' message alive in school. We run a group called 'Time with God' Tuesdays.
School Council - we have 2 representatives from each class, from Year 2 up to Year 6. We meet to discuss what we think needs to be done in school and how to improve things for us all.
Eco-Warriors - we meet weekly to look at how we can improve our Eco-Garden and care for the world around us.
Gardening Club - we work together to make our school garden a place to work in and look after. We have lots of wildlife that visit our garden and live in there.
Digital Leaders - we meet weekly to look at ways of learning using technology and helping ithers with their computing skills.
Librarians - we have 6 librarians in school that work in school to ensure that the library is tidy and we have a good selection of books to chose from.
Reading Ambassadors - we work together to promote the love of reading across the school.
Prefects - Year 6 children have been chosen as our prefects and work alongside the Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputies to ensure that we are setting high standards in all we do.
House Captains - Our School Houses are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We have 2 children from Year 6 who are House Captains for each house. They are responsible for collecting our House Points every week and the winners are announced in our Celebration Assembly on Fridays.
