St Bernadette's Roman Catholic Primary School

Together we Learn. Together we Achieve. Together we grow in God's Love.

Governors

The Governors are very committed to supporting the Headteacher, staff and children, in setting and maintaining very high standards, and in the constant pursuit of improvement.

Foundation governors always out-number all other governors by at least two ensuring a majority vote where matters of particular Catholic importance arise.

The Governing Body of St.Bernadette's has the following core strategic functions:

  • Ensuring clarity of the Catholic vision, ethos and strategic direction
  • Holding the HT to account for the educational performance and Catholic character of the school and its pupils;
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
