St Bernadette's Digital Leaders
What are Digital Leaders?
Digital Leaders are children from Year 5 and 6 with a passion for computing, technology and sharing knowledge. Digital Leaders take on, or develop, leadership roles and support the use of technology across the school.
They are also good role models who promote online safety.

How do you become a Digital Leader?
Children in Year 5 and 6 can apply for the position of the Digital Leader once a year. Children complete the application for using the job specification and are then interviewed for the position. These Digital Leaders remain in place throughout Year 5 and 6. During Year 6, Digital Leaders take a mentoring role to help train new Digital Leaders.
Computer Club is on Friday lunch times in the I.C.T. suite
What Do our children think about Computer Club?
I love being in Computing club because it is really fun and enjoyable.
Personally, I think Scratch is the best Computing software, but there are many other options available. I know I have got a lot better at Computing since I started going to Computing club.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead! We will be speaking to upper Key Stage 2 children soon as we need to recruit a few more Digital Leaders to join us.
We have now picked our new digital leaders and are ready to begin helping children and staff around school
We have agreed with Mr Proctor to run an internet safety day on Monday 24th February we are currently creating fun and informative actives for all the children at St Bernadette's to complete.
